Little Gables is an unincorporated Miami-Dade County community

Little Gables is an unincorporated Miami-Dade County community surrounded by the City of Coral Gables on three sides and the City of Miami on its northern most boundary. Here is a map of our neighborhood.

The Little Gables Neighborhood Association (LGNA) was founded in 1983 by residents of our community in order to better represent our neighborhood before county and state governments.

Links to our local and state representatives can be found here.

Little Gables obtains its Police, Fire and Trash collection services from Miami-Dade County. The police and fire station supporting our neighborhood is located in the Doral area. We have one community oriented police (COPs) officer assigned to our neighborhood on weekdays, after which we share one COP with the Schenley Park community.

We have a park and a number of historic houses within the boundaries of our neighborhood.  Information on San Jacinto park is found here.

Little Gables received a County grant for street tree plantings in 2001 and again in 2002. The first grant of 50 shade trees came to us through a non-profit organization called TREEmendous Miami. The second grant of an additional 50 shade trees was from the Shade For Dade program. Both tree plantings were organized and completed by volunteers from TREEmendous Miami and residents of Little Gables.

Little Gables Neighborhood Association collects a $25 annual membership fee from per household to help cover the organization’s costs. Read about the benefits of membership here.

LGNA publishes a newsletter informing residents of the community happenings. Copies of past newsletters are found at the Newsletter tab.  More recent communication has been sent by Mailchimp eblasts.  Sign up at Little Gables News Signup above!

Nice redesign. I would suggest a “News” tab. (Not just annexation news)
